Sad Trip.. Please Help !

Hello!
I'm sorry you're getting the mail from me at this Point in time,my family and I came down here to Istanbul, Turkey for a short vacation unfortunately we were mugged at the park of the hotel we stayed,all cash credit cards and cell were stolen off  but luckily for us we still have our passports with us.

I have been to the embassy and the Police here but they're not helping issues at all and our flight leaves pretty soon from now but we're having problems settling the hotel bills and the hotel manager won't let us leave until we settle the bills.Please be so kind to reply back so I can tell you what to do and how to get some cash to us.

Sadly the years slip by

Momma past away this fall at 94 years of age.  I've done much for her, but little for family stories and history.  This journal was ment to be relevant, and perhaps going forward I will put in the time.

What a phenomenal day. Mother, Susan Rhodes and I went to Helen Long's House on Balboa Island for lunch with her Bob and Diana. Wow! Not only was the weather perfect, the scene has not changed in 65 years. I brought along a DVD I had made from one of dad's home movies from 1946. Stories of the Mountain Manor had us laughing so hard. These college grads had a house in Glendale as their bachelor pad. Here we are 70 years later with their wives still friends.
